Ann Curry
Ann Curry has worked as a journalist for 45 years. Her work focuses on natural disasters and areas of war. In the wake of her father's army service the family moved often. They ultimately moved to Ashland Oregon where Curry attended high school. Curry graduated from high school in 1978 and earned the degree of Bachelor's in Journalism in the University of Oregon. After that, she moved into Los Angeles four years later to work as a reporter for KCBS TV. She received the award of two Emmy Awards during the six years at the station.
